Refund Policy

Last Updated: [August 1, 2025] This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you, as a subscriber to Mahaan Vastu, may request a refund for our services.

1. Subscription Nature of Service

Mahaan Vastu is a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. All subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription continues until you cancel it, and renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

2. Refund Eligibility

We strive to be fair and transparent with our users. Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

Technical FailureIf you experience a verified technical failure (e.g., service is unusable due to platform error not caused by user environment), and we are unable to resolve it within 5 business days of your reporting, a pro-rata refund may be issued.
Duplicate ChargesIf your account was charged twice for the same billing period due to an error, the duplicate amount will be refunded upon request.
Unauthorized ChargesIf a payment was made without your knowledge (e.g., fraud), a refund will be issued following investigation.
Annual Plans (Early Cancellation)If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of payment and have not used the service beyond basic testing, a partial refund (less payment gateway charges and administrative fees) may be issued.
Unmet Trial ExpectationsIf you transitioned from a free trial to a paid plan unintentionally, and notify us within 3 days of auto-renewal, we may refund the charge provided the service hasn't been used in that period.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Change of mind after trial or usage.

Partial use of monthly subscription.

Inability to use platform due to user-side network or device issues.

Failure to cancel before renewal date.

Suspended/terminated accounts due to Terms violation.

Perceived inaccuracy of Vastu analysis or horoscope outputs (these are interpretive tools and require professional discretion).

4. Payment Gateway Considerations

• Refunds for Stripe payments (non-India) are processed back to the original card/method within 5–10 business days. • Refunds for Razorpay/Cashfree payments (India) may take 7–14 working days, subject to gateway processing times and bank timelines. • Transaction fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable unless refunded by the gateway itself.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@mahaanvastu.com with: • Full name and registered email ID. • Invoice or payment reference number. • Reason for refund with supporting details (screenshots/logs, if applicable). We respond to refund queries within 5 working days and aim to resolve most refund requests within 10–14 business days.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you dispute a charge via your bank/card issuer (chargeback), your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation. If the chargeback is reversed in our favour, we reserve the right to deduct applicable fees from any future refund or account credit.

7. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Updates will be posted to this page with revision date. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the revised policy.
